Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete the account created by SourcingTree apps and the data stored with it.

When is an account created?

There is no sign-up in our apps. We never ask for your name, email address, or phone number.

However, to manage the free trial, an anonymous account is created automatically the first time you launch the app, derived from a one-way hash of your device identifier. That account holds nothing but the time your trial started, and the value alone cannot identify you.

Option 1 · Uninstall the app (data on your device)

Uninstalling removes the following from your device. No request is needed.

Uninstalling does not remove the anonymous account described above, because it is kept so that your remaining trial period carries over if you reinstall. Use Option 2 to delete it.

Option 2 · Request account deletion

Email us and we will delete the anonymous account and any data held on our side.

Send a deletion request

Including the following helps us process it faster.

We complete the request and reply within 10 days.
